REVIEWING PROCESS AND PUBLISHING ETHICS

The journal follows the policy of in-house peer review. Papers are reviewed on a voluntary basis free of charge. The review procedure is open. The reviewers are advised that the manuscripts sent to them are the intellectual property of the authors and information contained therein is not subject to disclosure. Reviewers are not allowed to make copies of manuscripts for their own needs. Breach of confidentiality is possible only in the case of a statement of inaccuracy or falsification of materials. The author of the work reviewed is provided an opportunity to read the text of the review. Papers that do not meet formatting requirements or where the authors refuse to enter formatting corrections, do not respond to or reasonably refute the reviewers’ comments shall not be accepted for publication. Upon revision by the authors, rejected papers may be re-submitted to the editorial office and will be reviewed under the general procedure.

When reviewing a contribution, the Editorial Board reserves the right to check the material using the Anti-Plagiarism System. In the case of multiple borrowings, the Editorial Board shall act under the COPE (https://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines).

Unpublished data from manuscripts submitted for review shall not be used for personal studies without the written consent of the author. Information or ideas received during the review and possible related benefits shall be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers shall not take part in the review of manuscripts in the event of a conflict of interest due to competitive, collaborative, and other interactions and relationships with any of the authors.
